Cath is a founding director of 1+2 Architecture. She has over 25 years of experience in architecture locally and internationally. Cath is a passionate designer, motivated by opportunities to exercise her skill in exploring beauty and providing memorable spatial experiences. She brings architectural clarity and programmatic efficiency to her design work that routinely exceeds expectations. She is a widely experienced Project Director with experience in challenging planning and contractual processes.

Cath graduated from University of Tasmania in 1992 with first class honours and has been a practising registered architect since 1996. She has travelled extensively and lived and worked in New Zealand and New York. She ran her own practice for 2 years prior to the establishment of 1+2 in 2002.

She was an elected member of the AIA Tas. Chapter Council for 4 years to 2020. She was a board member of the Board of Architects of Tasmania for 10 years and is an Architects Accreditation Council of Australia registration assessor. In recent years she has been a jury member for the AIA Tas. Chapter Awards, a member of the National Visiting Panel to the UTAS School of Architecture and a guest lecturer at the UTAS School of Architecture.

In 2020 she was awarded Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects.
